Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin is made at the Black Forest Distillers in Lossberg, Germany by head distiller Christoph Keller, using an extraordinary 47 botanicals — many locally sourced from the Black Forest — macerated for 36 hours in a molasses base spirit then distilled through an Arnold Holstein copper pot still.

Gin Description Crystal clear. An extraordinary, ever-evolving nose — juniper and citrus peel burst out first, followed by waves of berries, pine, lavender, spice and floral herbs. Each sniff reveals something new. On the palate, soft and glycerous at first, building in complexity through juniper, berries, pepper and herbs, with a long, dry, warming finish of astonishing depth.
