1800 Tequila was founded in 1975 — named for the year tequila was first aged in oak — and is produced at La Rojeña in Jalisco, one of the oldest active distilleries in Latin America. It is owned by the Beckmann family, the same family behind Jose Cuervo. The Añejo is aged for a minimum of 14 months in French oak barrels.

Tequila Style Añejo (14+ months aged)
ABV 40%
Agave 100% Blue Weber Agave
Tasting Notes Surprisingly dark with a real Cognac-like character. A lush, complex nose of coffee, herb butter and raisiny dark fruit. The palate rolls with sweetness — stewed prunes, dark fruit and a thick layer of warm spice — before agave-driven herbal notes emerge. The barrel dominates richly, with a long, satisfying finish.
Serve Best sipped neat or over a single large ice cube; pairs beautifully with dark chocolate
