Named after Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky who brought distilling knowledge home from Scotland in 1920, this pure malt (blended malt) is built entirely from single malts drawn from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, with no grain whisky in the blend.
