The 1997 Masi Costasera Amarone Classico is a benchmark expression from one of Valpolicella's most celebrated producers, made using the traditional appassimento method in which hand-picked grapes are dried on bamboo racks before pressing, concentrating their flavour into a rich, structured red built for long ageing.
