Masi Agricola, run by the Boscaini family since 1772, is one of Valpolicella's leading producers and pioneers of the appassimento method. Campofiorin, created in 1964, was the first wine made using Masi's double-fermentation technique — refermenting fresh wine on semi-dried grape skins for extra richness, a style often called “baby Amarone.”
