Don Julio was founded in 1942 by Julio González-Frausto Estrada, who built his first distillery, La Primavera, in the highlands of Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco at just 17 years old. Now owned by Diageo, Don Julio is widely regarded as one of Mexico's finest premium tequila brands. 1942 is Don Julio's luxury Añejo, aged for a minimum of 30 months in American white oak barrels, named in tribute to the year Don Julio founded his first distillery.

Tequila Style Añejo (30+ months, Ultra-Premium)
ABV 40%
Agave 100% Blue Weber Agave
Tasting Notes Rich golden amber. An ensemble of ripe tropical fruits — mango, papaya — laced with vanilla, toasted oak and a delicate caramel sweetness on the nose. Rich and full-bodied on the palate with dark chocolate, roasted agave and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is enduring and velvety, leaving a satisfying warmth that makes this one of Mexico's most iconic tequilas.
Serve Sipped neat in a short glass — this is not a mixing tequila but a celebration spirit; if cocktailing, a Don Julio 1942 Tequila Sunrise is a worthy indulgence
