The sublime character of this extra añejo tequila is only possible through its extended aging period of five years: first in American whiskey casks then separated into amontillado, oloroso and pedro ximénez sherry casks before being recombined.

Tasting notes

• Color: Shades of brown with copper highlights
• Body: Full
• Aroma: Sherry, dried plum, raisin, ripe apricot, brown sugar, clove, cinnamon, cacao and an intense aroma of oak
• Palate: Dried plum, cinnamon, cacao and clove with hints of tobacco and a long finish of dried plum and caramelized walnut

• Cheese: aged goat cheese
• Fruit: black cherries or fig
• Chocolate: dark
  

Decanter:

Adorned with platinum, silver and 24-karat gold, our most proficient artisans recreate our distinctive feathered motif on the sheer black surface of this decanter entirely from memory, as the platinum brushstrokes become visible only after the ceramic is fired.
