Chateau du Lort is a 17th-century property near the heart of Bordeaux, part of the Castel family's portfolio since 1984. The Bordeaux Superieur blend leans on Merlot, rounded out with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, and spends around twelve months in oak barrels sourced from five different coopers, about half of them new. The result is an approachable, fruit-forward red with a gentle wood-driven structure, made for everyday drinking with just enough grip to suit heartier dishes.
