Casamigos was founded in 2013 by actor George Clooney, entrepreneur Rande Gerber, and developer Mike Meldman — originally created for their own private enjoyment in their homes ('casa amigos' means 'house of friends') in Cabo. It is now owned by Diageo and distilled in the Jalisco highlands. The Añejo is aged for a minimum of 14 months in American white oak barrels.
