1800 Tequila was founded in 1975 — named for the year tequila was first aged in oak — and is produced at La Rojeña in Jalisco, one of the oldest active distilleries in Latin America. It is owned by the Beckmann family, the same family behind Jose Cuervo. The Reposado is rested for at least 6 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes Bright and lemony on the nose with fresh pepper, green herbs and a warm caramel and vanilla backbone from the oak. Creamy and soft on the palate, with ripe fruit, buttery caramel and baking spice, leading to a long, pleasantly peppery finish.
Serve Sipped neat or on the rocks; also excellent in an Añejo Margarita or Old Fashioned
