Ca'Marcanda is Gaja's Bolgheri estate in coastal Tuscany, established by Angelo Gaja in 1996 to apply his Piedmont expertise to international grape varieties grown on the region's limestone and clay soils. Camarcanda is the estate's flagship Bolgheri DOC red, a Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend grown on the structured terre bianche limestone-clay soils nearest the winery.
